Visionary Vanguard Productions bridges creative conceptualization and quality-tested analytical processes to provide comprehensive event planning and management services for arts organizations, artists, small businesses, and non-profit community organizations. Visionary Vanguard emerged in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many artists and arts organizations had to adapt their events and programs to an increasingly virtual environment in order to survive, and too often, these individuals and institutions lacked the tools, capacity, and/or understanding of virtual event production to effectively pivot. As artists, administrators, and organizers, Visionary Vanguard acts as the bridge in communications between all levels of stakeholders to create a seamlessly integrated event experience.

Building on over a decade of experience in nearly every role and aspect of event production, graphic design, and video editing, Ezra initially sought to provide project management, technical event support, and video editing services for small community organizations to continue serving their respective constituents throughout the lockdown. These organizations include East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, Joe Goode Performance Group, SambaFunk! Carnaval Explosion, Cal Performances, and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Contra Costa.  Emerging from the lockdowns, organizations recognized the need for investing in high-quality video production to document their events and needed support navigating the new normal of hybrid events. Visionary Vanguard exists to not only problem-solve the numerous logistical challenges associated with events, but to bring stability, joy, and imagination to the process.
